My heart has been overwhelmed in hearing about the passing of Apostle Matthews. I have not seen her in probably 40 plus years; however, she left such an indelible impression on my life that will never be erased. Thank you all for sharing her with the world. Her legacy will certainly live on through all of you. As her children you certainly arose to call her BLESSED and BLESSED were the lives that she so loving impacted. You all will continue to catch glimpses of her when you look in the mirror and indeed hear her when you speak - because that's what I saw and heard as you paid tribute to her. May God continue to strengthen and keep you in all that you do. Much LOVE to you all.

I will dearly miss Dot, along with our talks and prayers. She loved God and people with an unconditional love. I always enjoyed our conversations; she was consistently positive about everything. Even when she was in pain, she would say, "I am marvelous."

I believe God is loving and kind, and that He took her home before she felt any discomfort from the fire because of her many years of faithful service and her love for Him.
