Quietly and peacefully on Sunday, November 8, 2020 the Almighty God in his infinite Love and Wisdom gently called our beloved Betty Delores McKnight and she then entered her eternal rest.
Betty Delores McKnight was born February 2,1951 to the late Creola and Robert McKnight. At an early age she accepted Christ and was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church. God led her to Friendship Christian Church where she became a long active member and servant of the Lord.
She also was a member of the Highland School System. Betty was an Eastern Star Member. Endlessly volunteering for the community and churches throughout Gaston County. As an entrepreneur her gift of creativity with Floral Arrangement, Event Planning and Wedding Decoration then led to "New Beginnings" her business that she loved with Passion and Pride.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Creola McKnight, her siblings; Robert, Dallas, Ollie Mae, Donald, Vance and Ostell.
"Betty will be forever remembered by her loving and devoted children Jamison Anderson (Machelle) and Corey Edwards. her brother Dwight McKnight (Patricia), 2 Loving Grandchildren Darius Smith and Torianna Edwards; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews that will forever adore her."
