Obituary For Edna Mae Brooks Brown

Mrs. Edna Mae Brooks was born in Gaston County on May 15, 1932 and departed this life on June 9, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late William and Josephine Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Brown; three sisters, Conelle Brooks, Louise Friday, and Beulah Goode; seven brothers, Fred Brooks, Ernest Brooks, Howard Brooks, Lewis Brooks, Oliver Brooks, Paul Brooks, and William Sharp; son-in-law, Roger Kennedy and daughter, Arletha Hunt. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Brown Kennedy and Jamie Brown both of Dallas, NC, Janice Fuqua of CA, Norma (Will) Chambers of SC, and Alva Brown of NC; sons, Richard (Mable) Brooks, and Ovic (Rita) Goode both of NC; two brothers, Buffert Brooks and Ecnera Brooks both of CT. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
