Mrs. Era Sneed Gordon, 91, of Gastonia, North Carolina was born June 11, 1933 in Richmond, North Carolina and departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Arrangements Are As Follow:
PUBLIC VIEWING: At the funeral home on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M.
PLACE: Christ Community Baptist Church, 1128 North Ransom Street, Gastonia, NC 28052
DATE & TIME: Saturday, February 22, 2025 @ 11:30 A.M.
VISITATION(LIE IN STATE): At the church on Saturday thirty minutes prior to service from 11:00 until 11:30 A.M.
INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054

Offering our sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Era Gordon. During the time that I have known her, she was always kind and had a deep passion to help anyone she could. She always shared how much she loved her family and friends, but she loved her Lord and Savior most of all. Now she has completed her work here on earth and is resting in the loving arms of her Savior. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Words cannot describe the legacy left behind by such an incredible woman. She has seen a lifetime of experiences that we can only hope to strive to do ourselves one day. She has raised, nurtured, loved and guided so many generations through her faith in God and in people. Our Grand & Great-Grand mother will be forever loved and live on though all of us.
