Tribute to Fessie Rudisill from Catherine Booth Garden Apartments
Where and how do we begin to express the love and appreciation for Fessie Rudisill? Fessie became a resident of Catherine Booth Gardens when its doors opened in January 2005. During her years here she has been a powerful prayer warrior to many residents and staff as well. Fessie volunteered many hours with The Salvation Army in their League of Mercy ministry, a ministry that visits assisted living and nursing facilities to spread the love of Jesus Christ all while joining in fellowship with residents of each facility. Fessie occasionally spoke to the residents of Catherine Booth Gardens at weekly meetings; she also was guest speaker for The Salvation Army Seniors' Sunday Service on one occasion. She was recognized as a volunteer at the annual dinner for her contributions to both Catherine Booth Gardens and The Salvation Army.
There is a great void left in her passing. She was a wonderful lady who spoke life and hope into those around her. Fessie Rudisill definitely left us better than she found us; she was a blessing to all. May you all find comfort and joy in knowing that your mother left a lasting impact on many.
