We all grew up on Avon ,that group should have been more close knit than any other community in Gastonia,because everybody was related one way or another,James Rufus was a kind fella,I used to visit with him when I go see my uncle at the center on Marietta,haven't saw him in a few years,the world seems a little emptier....gonna miss this guy.
