Mable Floyd Falls was born to the late Mack Bland Floyd and Katie Wilson Floyd, June 5, 1926. On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, God called home an amazing mother, aunt, grandmother, and loving friend to her heavenly home.
Mrs. Falls was a Phenomenal Woman of God. She was a faithful; lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Bessemer City, North Carolina where she served as an Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, Church Clerk, Financial Secretary, and a member of the Hymn Choir. She retired as a Machine Operator from Rauch Industries, Gastonia, North Carolina.
In additional to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Silvo B. Falls, Sr., her siblings, Lee Floyd, Ivory Bland Floyd, Maxine Floyd Boyce, and Early Wiley Floyd, a daughter, Juanita B. Falls.
Left to cherish her well-lived life are her sons, Pastor Kenneth B. Falls (Aurelia), Marvin D. Falls (Wanda), Silvo B. Falls, Jr. (Barbara); daughter, Bishop Diane Brown; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Arrangement:
Place: Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Bessemer City, North Carolina
Date & Time: Monday, July 11, 2022 @ 1:00 P.M.
Quiet Hour: For thirty minutes prior to funeral from 12:30 until 1:00 P.M.
Burial: Vantine Cemetery, Bessemer City, North Carolina
Public Viewing will be on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M.
It's difficult at such a time to know what words to say. But understanding thoughts and prayers are there with you.
