Mrs. Nevada Geneva Mack; a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many; gained her wings on Monday July 25, 2022. Nevada was born on June 15, 1932, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, to the late Jessie Dell McClain and James Tillman Jackson.
Nevada had lasting careers with both Avon and Grey Envelope. Nevada changed career paths and followed her true passion which involved caring for children. This then led her to open her own in-home daycare, where she fostered many children. She was not just Nanna to her immediate family, she was also Nanna to many other families as well. To know her is to love her. She had one of the purest souls. Nevada loved spending time with her family and friends. But if you really knew her, she loved a good crossword puzzle, a cup of coffee, and some fried chicken. A piece of our hearts will truly be missed. We love you dearly!
In addition to her husband, Robert Mack she is preceded in death by her four siblings: Thomas Jackson, Franklin Jackson, James Jackson, and Zenobia Degree; two children: Kenneth Mack, and Barbara Mack; one grandson: Ivan Kenneth Shaw.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her brother Carlos Jackson, and sister Carolyn Partlow; her nurturing granddaughters: Lakeisha Murphy, and Malekita Mack; her loving great grandchildren: Bryan Davis, TaNasiah Dawkins, Brianna Davis, Myah Williams, Leonard Smith; and Gennanah Maddox her precious great-great grand-children: Ta-Had Davis, Lyriq Davis, TaNia Dawkins, Messiah Thomas, Makhai Thomas, Bryan Junior Mack Davis, Filmon Dawkins III, Major Thomas and Rakiah Williams.
