Reverend Joann Robinson Barber, 84, of Gastonia, North Carolina was born January 31, 1942 and departed this life on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby, North Carolina.

Arrangements Are As Follows:

VISITATION/LIE IN STATE: At Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.

PLACE OF FUNERAL: Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 913 North Highland Street, Gastonia, NC 28052

DATE & TIME: Friday, August 14, 2026 @ 12 Noon

VISITATION/LIE IN STATE: At the church on Friday thirty minutes prior to service from (11:30 A.M. until 12 Noon).

INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park: 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054
