I had the pleasure of meeting her years ago as she was very FAITHFUL for coming to Stanley Total Living Center spoiling the residents as well as the staff. She was so loved by all. We always enjoyed when she and the others would come for the Christmas Caroling on the halls. We Love you Miss Rosie and will never forget you. May you Rest in Peace. You know when someone has impacted your life greatly when you feel their loss deep in your heart. Although I cry, I also smile. Boosie, Nina, Bren & Mussie, thank you for sharing your wonderful, beautiful mother with me. She was a bonus mom to me for sure. I feel like I spent more time at your house growing up then I did at my own & she would always introduce me as another daughter when talking to friends while I was there. I knew I was one of the family when I not only got hugs and kisses, but also when I was given chores and even corrected. That's love. The mall trips, getting ready for church, dinner, and family functions all flood my memory & I'm blessed to have them. I'll miss hearing your voice when I would surprise you & call just to say "heyy mama, I love you!" and I'd hear you holler my name and tell me "I love you baby, where you at!" It's been a few years since I last called you, but I know you loved me & you knew I loved you. Lord thank you, for Mama Abernathy, and thank you that she loves you, because now her soul rests and heaven is her home. I love you & we'll see you in paradise. ♥️🕊️
