A Time to Plant: Sandra Faye McCleave was born on May 3, 1958, to Isaiah and Bertha Pegram McCleave in Gastonia, North Carolina.
A Time to Serve: Sandra Faye worked at Wix Filters for years. After her health declined, Faye’s mom, Bertha took care of her along with Carolina Center until her passing.
A time to Mourn: On June 24, 2021, Sandra Faye McCleave departed this earthly life at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, Isaiah McCleave; her twin brother, Donald Ray McCleave, Jamie Lee McCleave, and Marion Smarr.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: her son, Jonathan McCleave, her mother, Bertha Pegram McCleave; her sisters, Betty (Renald) Ruiz of New York, NY, Rosie (William) Cherry of Huntsville, AL, Deborah McCleave and Ernestine Berry of the home. Sandra Faye has four grandchildren: Jonathan McCleave, Shantel McCleave, Zykevious McCleave, and Zemari McCleave. Two great grandchildren, Na’vaeh McFadden and Javari McCleave all of Gaston County and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m.
