I am thankful that Sandra and I shared a strong friendship for a number of years while toiling at Gaston DSS and for years afterwards. Although her illness caused separation, I know that Sandra knew I thought of her often and prayed for her and her family. Rev. Setzer and my mom also shared something special while working together at Freightliner, Mount Holly. Another friendship strand is with her sister, Jodi, who remains a good friend and her husband, Cornell, whose first wife, Genell, was a loving member of my church family (Bynum Chapel).
