Mrs. Shelia Denise Dial was born February 10th, 1959, in Gaston County, North Carolina and departed this life on Monday, July 18th, 2022, at AdventHealth Hospital in Apopka, FL. Shelia was the daughter of the late Melvin Dial and Helen Powell Allen.
Shelia was a charitable, devoted, and hard-working woman. She loved spending time with family and spoiling her four grandchildren. She loved traveling, visiting the beach, attending plays, live music and concerts, reading books, cooking, and was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed following her favorite sports teams: Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Braves, Orlando Magic and Carolina Hurricanes. She was a cheerful giver to her local churches and charities such as Cure Bowl Foundation and the Samaritanโs Purse Operation Christmas Child.
As a proud Hunter Huss Huskie graduate, she continued her education at Gaston Community College and East Coast Polytechnic Institute (ECPI-Charlotte, NC). Starting in 1994, Shelia worked at New Horizons and dedicated 28 years of service across multiple locations as the General Manager for Charlotte, NC, Orlando, FL, Melbourne, FL, Tallahassee, FL, and Pensacola, FL. Shelia was awarded the New Horizons Lifetime Achievement Award and earned Global Center of the Year three times.
Shelia leaves to cherish her precious memories to her husband Chet Wisniewski III, daughters, Toni Benton (Dedric Jr.) and Sydni Watson (David Jr.) both of Apopka, FL; three sisters, Melvina Dial, Lora Dial, and Lora Darby (Donald) all of Gastonia, NC; two brothers, Anthony Dial (Jackie) of Gastonia, NC and Sherwin Antonio Dial (Violeta) of Lancaster, CA; parents-in-law, Teresa Kennedy of Exton, PA and Chester Wisniewski Jr. (Dawn) of Lake Wylie, SC; one sister-in-law, Tamara McGowan (Richard) of Exton, PA; two brothers-in-law Chris Wisniewski of Eagleville, PA and Patrick Wisniewski of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren Bryce Benton, Ava Benton, Charlotte Watson and David Watson III all of Apopka, FL; six nieces and nephews Dominica Maness of Charlotte, NC, Antrenette Ragland (Laron) and Antonya Dial both of Lancaster, CA, Taris Dial of Stanley, NC, Ryan McGowan and Tyler McGowan both of Exton, PA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Place: Trinity-Unity AME Zion Church, Gastonia, North Carolina
Date & Time: Wednesday, July 27, 2022 @ 3:00 PM
Visitation: At the church thirty minutes prior to service from 2:30 until 3:00 PM
Burial: Private
Public Viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00 PM

So sorry to hear about Sheila's passing but it's her Homecoming! While it's a loss for us left behind, it's Graduation Day for Sheila as she leaves this world and enters the Gates of Heaven and meets her Jesus and family that has gone before. There are no words to express the sadness I have to hear the news of Sheila. She was such a caring , strong wonderful woman .; her smile would make anyone feel home .Did you know Sheila every year send a candy goodie bag for Halloween to my children; it was so generous from her.
