Obituary For Stephanie Marie Crank

Stephanie Marie Crank was born on June 24, 1964 in Gaston County at the Gaston County Negro Hospital, North Falls Street. She was born into a family of endearing and much love.

Stephanie is the daughter of Betty Garvin Crank, and she loved her family dearly. The next to youngest of 8 children and the youngest daughter, she attended Lingerfeldt Elementary, South West Junior High and graduated from Ashbrook High School. She continued her education at Gaston College, Colorado Christian University and attended Carolina Beauty College in Gastonia. She was an assistant teacher at James Martin Middle School in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and was baptized. Her church affiliation, from childhood until she departed this life, was the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the youth department and continued to serve on the youth and young adult choirs for many years. Her hobby was enjoying music of all types.

She is the second youngest of eight siblings: Veronica Crank, Saralyn Adams (Hubert), Regina Crank Davis, Richard L. Crank Jr., Arlisa Crank-Townsend (Homer), Constance Ratchford (Warren) and the late Cornelius “Boogie” Crank. Stephanie Marie is a loving aunt and great-aunt and has more than 15 nieces, nephews and cousins. She is loved and admired by all of her family. She departed her earthly life in her home in Gastonia, North Carolina, and went to be home with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 19, 2021. Our family already misses her presence and believes she is home with Our Heavenly Father. Amen! Amen! Amen!

BURIAL: North Oakland Street Cemetery Gastonia, North Carolina

Public viewing will be at the funeral home Sunday, April 26, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
