Mr. Adam Lee Holmes, Ashland Court, Dublin, Georgia departed this life Monday, November 25, 2019. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 12 Noon at Gordon Grove Baptist Church and cemetery, 1080 Belmont Road, Louisville, GA. Mr. Holmes was a native of Bartow, Georgia born to the parentage of the late Alex Holmes, Jr. and Annie Ruth Thompson Holmes. At an early age he joined the Gordon Grove Baptist Church where he remained faithful. Adam was a 1995 graduate of Louisville High School and worked for Pepsi Bottling Group for over 12 years. He loved to sing and was a dedicated member of the Voices of Harmony Life will never be the same for his loving wife of 17 years, Tanisha Heath Holmes, Dublin, GA; his loving children, Tahjuawon Holmes, Louisville, GA, Sydney Holmes and Jordyn Holmes, Dublin, GA; his siblings, Essie (Andrew “Sonny”) Daniels, Jacksonville, FL, Annie (Roger) Bell, Carrie (Sam) Gibbons, Rev. Walter (Delores) Holmes, Sr., Daisy Holmes, Bartow, GA, Mattie Lowery, Charles (Earnestine) Holmes, Sr., Robert (Eilene) Holmes, Elouise (Rev. Charles) Holloway, Louisville, Georgia, Theodis (Elizabeth) Holmes, Wadley, Georgia, Patricia Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia; one nephew that was also reared in the household, Michael (Landie) Johnson, Louisville, GA his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Armadean and Joe Sello, Grovetown, GA; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and other devoted relatives and friends. The family may be contacted at the residence on Ashland Court, Dublin, GA from Tuesday, Nov. 26, thru Thursday, Nov. 28th and at 1268 Shellman Road, Bartow, GA on Friday, Nov. 28th and Saturday, Nov. 29th. Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Adam Lee Holmes.
