Obituary For Anthony James Hodges

Mr. Anthony James Hodges, Jordan Circle, Bartow, GA, departed this life Friday, August 26, 2022 at an Augusta Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Old Bethel Baptist Church, 1900 Baldee Road, Bartow, GA. WITH MASK. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Mr. Hodges was born in Richmond County to the parentage of Larry Smith and the late Carrie Lee Hodges. Anthony was a 1994 graduate of Louisville High School and since that time held down several jobs including, Old Capital Nursing Home, Battle Lumber Company and Criders. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Hodges and Daddy, Leroy Williams that provided and gave him plenty of love. He leaves to cherish his love and laughter, his father and stepmother: Larry (Mary) Smith, Twin City, GA; his wife: La'Quisha Blair Hodges, Wadley, GA; his children: Michael Murray, Antianna Hodges, Wadley, GA, Antori Hodges, Swainsboro, GA, Antrea Hill, Louisville, GA; his siblings: Clarence (Tiwatha) Gilmore, Louisville, GA, Christopher Hodges, Bartow, GA, Michael Smith, New York, Gwendolyn Smith, Augusta, GA, Sakirra Ellison, Atlanta, GA; Godmother: Bessie Hodges; several loving and devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be cousins.
