Barbara Elaine Brewer Jackson, of College Park, GA passed away March 11, 2021. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021, 1:00 PM in Sherwood Memorial Park, 6841 Tara Blvd., Jonesboro, GA 30236. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Watkins Funeral Home Jonesboro, 163 North Ave., Jonesboro, GA 30236. Barbara will be remembered and cherished by her husband, Lewis Edward Jackson, Jr., her daughter, Latitia B. Jackson, her grandchildren, Jarel, Jackson and Joy. She also leaves an incredibly special bonus son, Lewis Edward Jackson III (Sherry) and their children and grandchild. An incredibly special part of her family included her 2 dogs, Polo and Jax. Barbara’s siblings, Gary Morris Mitchell (Thwanda) of Decatur; Theresa Diane Baker-King (Griffin); and Linda Gail Scott (Riverdale) will always honor and cherish the memory of the “big sister” who paved the way to so much. The big sister who would periodically call very early in the morning to check on them and let them know how much she loves them. She also leaves to remember her a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, close family friends and the East Point First Mallalieu United Methodist Church family.
