It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carlo Thomas, who departed this life peacefully on Monday, November 10th 2025, surrounded by love.

Carlo was a man of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering faith. He faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor will forever be remembered by those whose lives he brightened.

Born on October 8th 1972 in Augusta GA, Carlo lived a life marked by dedication and service — to his family, his friends, and his community. He was known for his warm smile, his steady presence, and his willingness to lend a helping hand.

Carlo is survived by his mother: Carolyn Thomas-Gibbons; his siblings: Corey Thomas, Arthur Lee Gibbons Jr., Kelvin Tarver, Shuntae Gibbons; uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and a host of friends and loved ones who will cherish his memory always. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire those he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 15th 2025 at Tarver Grove Baptist Church, 4411 Tarver Grove Church Road, Bartow, GA at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held in the Tarver Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Friday, Nov, 14, 2025 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.

Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of the remarkable man who meant so much to so many.

Carlo’s legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
