Mr. Charles "Daddy " Mills, (CB Handle Thin Ham), a professional truck driver, 64 Keysville, GA entered into rest Wednesday at an Augusta Hospital. Graveside Services will be held June 10, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at William Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Mitchell, GA. with mask and social distancing. Charles was born in Mitchell (Glascock County), Georgia on November 28, 1955 to the late Roosevelt Mills, Sr and Eva Lou Mills. He pursued a career in professional truck driving where he retired as a veteran after providing excellent service for over 46 years. He was a devoted husband and father and a member of William Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Roosevelt Mills, Sr and one sister, Mariah Wallace. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Shirley Ann Mills, Keysville, GA; his mother, Eva Lou Mills, Mitchell, GA; his children, Tynesha (Mike) Mills, Sandersville, GA, Charles Mills, Jr. Wadley, GA, Shanerka Wilcher, Augusta, GA, Sharica (Joseph) Nair, Keysville, GA, Brandon (Yieka) Mills, Augusta, GA; grandchildren Stanquonesha Tukes, Xavion Mills, Sandersville, GA, Charstaja Mills, Louisville, GA, Markaya Wilcher and Kalyn Wilcher, Keysville, GA, Brandon Mills, Jr. New Orleans, LA, Braydon Mills, Augusta, GA; siblings, Carolyn Wiley, Roosevelt ( Arleese) Mills, Louisville, GA, Evelyn Braddy, Warthen, GA, Mildred Lane, Columbus, GA, Jerry Mills, Mitchell, GA, Diane (Melvin) Jackson, Tennille, GA, Shirley Fleming, Sandersville, GA, Troy (Kathy) Mills, Warner Robins, GA, Jimmy (Louvenia) Gibson, Jr., Mitchell, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Man just was told I too am a truck driver been gone over the road. Charles was a professional use to try to beat him to the woods. Lol. Never made that happen. Great friend and mentor.
