Mr. Charlie Jenkins of Popular Street, Wadley, GA , was born in Jefferson County, Georgia, June 6, 1958, to Charlie Brown and Bernice Jenkins Brown.

Charlie made his transition from labor to reward on February 14, 2025 at Doctor’s Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. He joins his father: two sisters: Connie Brown and Carolyn Dixon; his grandmother: Corine Jenkins; one aunt: Mamie Morgan

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA.

Public viewing will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, Louisville, GA

Charlie was a very hard-working person that truly loved his family. He worked on Georgia highways as a machine operator for CRS, Knox and Rivers.

He was married to the former Sandra D. Whitfield, to this union, three children were born.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving mother: Bernice Jenkins Brown; three children: Kendrick Jenkins, Kimberly Jenkins and Kydran Jenkins; his brothers: Corey Brown, Edward (Sandra) Jenkins, Bobby Fields and Roosevelt Brown; two aunts: Rose Mae Brown and Eunice Devero; his grandchildren: Teyica, Kydran Jr., Kydrauna, Ky’Mia, Carmen and Paris; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
