Obituary For Curtis Lee Weaver

Curtis L. Weaver Jr. was born June 2, 1953 to Mr. Curtis L. Weaver and Mary Weaver in Montgomery, Alabama. Both parents preceded him in death. He passed away at the age of 67 in his home in Wadley, Georgia. He is survived by his wife, Anna and their three children; Robert, Curtis III, and Angelina and her husband Damon. He leaves 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He also leaves 2 sisters in Cleveland Ohio; Gina Foree, and Sheila Weaver and 2 brothers, Jerome and Glenn Weaver in Minneapolis, Minnesota along with several nephews, nieces, and cousins. Curtis was a Marine Veteran where his Primary Specialty Title was 0311 Rifleman and earned a National Defense Service Medal and Rifle Bade Sharpshooter. In civilian life, he was a Master Tailor after becoming certified in Minneapolis for 25 years and worked in several retail locations that included men stores and his own tailor shop in Augusta. He retired and made his home in Norcross, Georgia to be closed to his children and grandkids for several years and then moved to Wadley, Georgia. His church was One Way To God Church in Wadley where he was baptized by Pastor Ernestine Adams in 1984 and his present pastors were Jessie and Sallie Adams. He leaves his brother-in-law, Jessie and his wife Lisa from Athens, and many brothers and sisters In-Christ, family, and friends that have kept him lifted up in prayer during his last leg of the journey.
