Ethel Lee Latimore Kelly (age 95) was born in Emanuel Co., GA. to the parentage of the late John Edward Latimore and Dathia Braswell Latimore. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Highway 1, Louisville GA. Public viewing will be held Friday, December 18th from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. She was the last survivor of seven siblings. She was married to the late Robert G. Kelly for 64 years. Their marriage was blessed with 11 children of whom three preceded her in death: John Kelly, Robert Kelly Jr., and Loretta Kelly. “Mom-mie” as she was affectionately known by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many others that she taught in her kindergarten (Kelly’s Kinder Care). She became a dedicated witness of Jehovah and was baptized on July 12, 1986. She faithfully and thoroughly enjoyed her ministry. Ethel was a very loving and giving person, showing kindness and thoughtfulness to all that she met. She is survived by her children, Delores Cordes (Leroy) of Moncks Corner, SC.; Dennis Kelly (Eloise) of Swainsboro, GA.; Olivia Caldwell (Levert) of Roanoke, AL.; Ora Boatwright (George) of Hephzibah, GA.; Laura Smith of Wadley, GA.; David Kelly (Vivian) of Stapleton, GA.; Patrick Kelly (Marissa) of Grovetown, GA.; and a very loving daughter-n-law Mary Kelly of Louisville, GA.; 24 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, a very special caregiver, friend/daughter Verdell McIntosh of Wadley, GA. (affectionately known by Mrs. Kelly as “Marvell”.
