Mr. Henry Lee Heggs, II, Davisboro, GA departed this life January 19, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Shiloh C.M.E. Church cemetery, Davisboro, GA with Mask and Social Distancing. Jabo” as he was lovingly known was born in Davisboro, GA to the parentage of the late Henry Lee Heggs, I and Emma Stone Heggs. He graduated from T.J. Elder High, Sandersville, GA. At an early age he joined the Shiloh C.M.E. Church. He was well known for farming and working for the city of Davisboro where he retired in 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Heggs, two children, Kent Heggs and Francine Samples; two siblings: Tom Brown and Sally Mae Mitchell. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Henry Lee (Delores Wade) Heggs, III, Maryland, Sandra Heggs and Barbara Heggs, Davisboro, GA; Daughter-in-law, Regina Wright, Sandersville, GA; sister-in-law, Emma Gamble Bridges, Davisboro, GA; a devoted nephew, Calvin Mitchell; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
