Mr. Henry L. Morgan, Sr., affectionately known as “Hen” entered eternal rest on January 25, 2026, in Augusta , Ga at the age of 77 .

Henry was born on May 3, 1948, to the late Harvey Dixon, Sr. and Maude Ethel Dixon in Waynesboro, Georgia.
Known as “ Big Wheel “, he devoted many years of his life as a dedicated truck driver, working faithfully with Lewis Steel Works and Robert L. McNair Hauling. After many years of hard work and commitment, he retired and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and beloved family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Dixon, Sr. and Maude Ethel Dixon; sisters Barbara Jones, Willie Dean Dixon, Bennie Dixon, Ray Fields, and Lonzie Dixon; and a son- in-law Michael Tripp.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory his children:Jacqueline Tennyson of Augusta, GA; Angela Tripp of Cordele, GA; Henry Morgan, Jr. of Louisville, GA.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Courtney Morgan of Cordele, GA; Brittney (Robbie) Walker of Grayson, GA; Ar’Chardonnay” Morgan of Tennille, GA; Zarrihonna Morgan of Tennille, GA
He was blessed to also have one great-grandchild, Auri Moye of Grayson, GA.
Henry is survived by his siblings: Patricia Rosser of Atlanta, GA; Dorothy Bennett of Louisville, GA; Jessie Dixon, Sr. of Wrens, GA; and Harvey (Sherry) Dixon of Blythe, GA. Aunt, Ann Dixon of Louisville, GA; sister-in-laws Jackie Fields & Gale Dixon; devoted caregivers Thelma Reese and Patricia Jackson; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
