Mr. Hollis Hannah, Whitley Road, Stapleton, Georgia departed this life Sunday, September 6, 2020. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sandvalley A.M.E. Church Cemetery. Mask and social distancing is required. Mr. Hannah was a native of Jefferson County born to the parentage of the late Milo Hannah and Martha Lee Moore Hannah. He attended the Jefferson County School System and was a member of the Sandvalley A.M.E. Church. He was married to the late Barbara Johnson Hannah. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one son, Moses Hannah, one brother, Callie “Bud” Hannah, Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Roberta (David) Hannah-Nichols, Newark, N.J.; his loving sisters, Christine Hannah (James ) Harvey, Stapleton, GA and Gracie Laurenfort, Wrens, GA; brothers, Roosevelt (Rebecca ) Hannah, Wrens, GA, Charles (Evelyn) Hannah, Detroit, Michigan; two grandchildren, Monique Williams and David Nichols, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. I remember the first time as a young child coming down to Georgia to see you. It was nothing but great times and memories. I remember you had the flyest lavender suits I seen at the time. Grandpa, I wish I had more time to spend with you and had more time to talk and learn from you. Unfortunately, God took you away from us but I know he's going to take good care of you in heaven.
