JACK “WILL” GRIER departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2020 in New York City. He was born to the parentage of the late Ben Grier and Leola Powell Hill. He attended Wadley High School and later graduated from Jefferson County High School. Jack joined the United States Army where he served his country for 15 years. After his retirement, Jack continue his career as a Mail Carrier with the United States Postal Service in New York City, where he later retired again after 19 years of service. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, August 23, 2020 @ 10:00 A.M. at San Clair Baptist Church in Wadley, Georgia. Jack joins his father and mother, a brother, Johnnie Mae Hinkins, a grandson, Victor Grier, grandmother, Irene Powell whom all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving children, three daughters; Vicki Williams of Snellville, Georgia, Casondra Grier-Gosha of Augusta, Georgia, and Jacqualyn Blount Midgett of Washington, North Carolina. Two sons; Jamaal Blount and Waikane Blount of Washington, North Carolina. Four sisters; Ella Taylor and Linda Aurther of Hephzibah, Georgia, Rogerbell (Leviticus) Eason and Shirley Taylor of Swainsboro, Georgia. Seven Brothers; Joe Taylor of Thomson, Georgia, James “Bobby” (Gloria) Seays of Detroit, Michigan, Clark Williams of Swainsboro, Georgia, Garrett Farris Bowlinger of Powder Springs, Georgia, Charles (Delores) Hill of Wadley, Georgia, Willie L. (Shirley) Grier of Palm Coast, Florida, and Cubie Grier of Daytona Beach, Florida; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
