Mr. Jerry Dean Thomas, 58, 504 Nina Lane, Louisville, GA departed this life Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Augusta University Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church, 4800 Hwy 1 South, Wadley, GA. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Bartow, GA Wake services will be held Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. at James and Virginia Davis Memorial Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA Jerry also known as “Bubba”, “The Handyman”, “Coon” was born in Bartow, GA to the parentage of the Harvey Bostic and the late Maxie Lee Thomas. Jerry was a 1979 graduate of Louisville High School. He worked on various jobs during his life including, Davis Funeral Home, Old Capital Nursing Home, Louisville Housing Authority and Jefferson County Board of Education where he retired in December 2018. He was always dedicated and faithful in getting the job done. Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, and one sister, Bertha Thomas Wicker. Survivors include two daughters, Jaquita Thomas (Tory) Combs, Louisville, GA, Jaquana Howell (Will Walker) Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Ty’Quavius Howell, Princess Ja’Moijnee Howell, Augusta, Ga, Toryon Combs, Louisville, GA; his father, Harvey (Dollie) Bostic, Gainesville, FL; his siblings, Allen Thomas, Shirley Jean Thomas, Albert Young, Karen Thomas, Louisville, GA, Marion (Sonya) Thomas, Dublin, GA, Alfred (Phyllis) Thomas, Wadley, GA; cousins that he was reared in the household with, Barbara Tarver and Robert Thomas; uncles and aunts, Annie Lois Thomas, Louisville, GA, Walter (Lottie) Thomas, Freddie (Rose) Thomas of Bartow, GA, Rev.
