Jer’Tydrick Jerome Flournoy, affectionately known as “Tydrick,” was born on June 21, 2005, at 3:11 p.m. to Mr. Jerome Flournoy and Mrs. Sophia Patterson-Flournoy. On November 2, 2025, at 5:31 a.m., he was called home to be with the Lord. Though his departure came in a way no family should ever have to endure, we find comfort in knowing he gained his wings and now watches over us.
Homegoing Celebration will be held, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kingdon Life Fellowship Ministries, 11972 Highway 1 South, Wadley, GA
Interment will be held in Kingdom Life Fellowship Ministries Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Friday, Nov. 7, 2025 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home.
Jer’Tydrick was known for his contagious smile, humble spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the love he gave so freely. He was dependable, uplifting, and a leader to many, both young and old in his community. He offered a helping hand wherever it was needed and left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him.
He graduated from Jefferson County High School in May 2023. He continued his education at Oconee Fall Line Technical College, pursuing a degree in accounting. In 2023, he proudly earned multiple diplomas in Welding. Jer’Tydrick loved sports, video games, dancing, laughing, and simply enjoying life. He lived boldly and authentically. If he loved you, he stood with you completely; and if he didn’t, he never pretended.
Jer’Tydrick is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mr. Lynn McKennie and Mr. Job Patterson Sr., his beloved great-grandmothers, Ms. Ruby Bass-Gamble and Ms. Ezra McKennie-Flournoy, and his aunt, Ms. Monet Adams-Rodriguez.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted parents, Mr. Jerome and Mrs. Sophia Flournoy, his loving siblings, NyGeria Lewis, DeAndre Flournoy, Nakias Flournoy, JerQuetta Flournoy, Jerkheiveus Flournoy, Zion Duckworth, and Drelun Austin.
He will be remembered with love by his nieces, Jerriah Flournoy, Jiya Flournoy, Zori Flournoy, Kaeli Flournoy, Gianna Flournoy, and Kayzlynn Thomson. His nephews, Samir Johnson, GeSai Flournoy, Devonte Flournoy, and Lennox Flournoy.
He leaves to cherish his memory and love, his devoted girlfriend Ms. Jamariyae “My backbone” Jackson.
Cherishing his memory are his grandmothers, Mrs. Betty Jean McKennie and Ms. Mattie Flournoy, and his grandfather Mr. Bobby Adams.
He is lovingly remembered by his aunts Alicia Lockett (Malachi), Tracy Fort (Travis), Kawanna Collins (Reggie), Erica Adams, Shontell Washington, Mecca Adams, and Malika Adams. His uncles, Job (Pam) Patterson Jr., Jamaree Adams, Jonathan Tillman, Joseph (Shereonta) Tillman, and Jermaine (Tiffany) Patterson; along with a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
