Kristophur Tavon Da'Jour Reese "Tavon" was born on February 20, 1997 to Christopher Reese and Lashara Oliver in Statesboro, GA. He departed this life on August 25, 2021 in Savannah, GA.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Friendship Cemetery, Sylvania, GA

Tavon is a Screven County native, but lived a good portion of his life in Jefferson County where they knew him as “ Black Kris “ (Louisville). He was briefly employed at Claxton Poultry Farms in the debone department. He was silly. He loved to laugh and joke around. He was a young man who really loved his family. He would often say "I know that's right". He will be greatly missed, and we definitely know that's right.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary and James Johnson.

He leaves many cherished memories to his father: Christopher (Cynthia) Reese of Louisville, GA., his mother Lashara (Garrett) Oliver of Sylvania, GA; One daughter, Qierstyn Watson of Savannah, GA; Three sisters: Amour Reese, Tyshara Reese, and Ny'Kirreyah Reese all of Sylvania, GA. Step-siblings, Devonte Brinson, Chuckela Brinson, Chuckie Flournoy Jr., and Chuckquez Flournoy of Louisville, GA . his grandmother Smithie Jenkins of Louisville, GA. his grandfather: Donnell Gamble of Louisville, GA;. Two uncles: Maurice Reese of Louisville, GA., and Ranaud (Evelyn) Overstreet of Sylvania, GA; Six aunts; Denise (John) Harris of Waynesboro, GA., Torria (Sherrod) Lane of Atlanta, GA. Diane (Ulysee) Jackson, Joyce (Louis) Major both of Sylvania, GA. Sheska Essex of Woodbridge, VA. and Georgia Mae Coley of Tallahassee, FL. One nephew, Ahmir Reese of Sylvania, GA. and a host great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
