Obituary For Larry Jordan

A wise and amazing God, who too wise to make a mistake who does all things well. He saw Larry’s journey was finished he departed from earth and stepped into eternity on Friday November 13,2020 after fighting a good fight at Pruitt Health Facility.

Churchyard services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Davisboro, GA. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

He proceeded in death by his parents: Mr. Themla and Mrs Ruby Jordan, three sisters: Mrs Mazzie Moore, Mrs. Louise Jordan Kemp, Ms.Leonia Jordan, four brothers Mr. Tommie Lee Jordan, Mr. Veline Jordan, Mr. Lacy Jordan and his twin Mr. Vernon Jordan.

Larry life began on August 12,1947 in Davisboro Ga to the parentage of the late Mr. Thelma Jordan Sr, and the late Mrs. Ruby Hall Jordan. Larry attended T. J Elder High School and graduated in 1967. He went to Fort Valley State College. He later he went into the Army and Marines. He was a man of great wisdom and knowledge. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. In 1971 he took on the responsibility to help his mother raise six of his sister’s children, which he was a father figure to. He loved his family. Larry leaves to cherish in his memories five Larry Jordan Jr (Keilan) of Honolulu Hawaii, Vernon Jordan of Savannah Ga, Jeffrey Williams, Michael Hooks, Maurice Hooks of Kinston NC. Larry have twenty two grandkids. Two brothers: Themla Jordan of Davisboro Ga, Isadora Jordan of Milwaukee WI. A host of lovingly nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
