Mr. Lee Arthur Gibbons, 60, of Wadley, Georgia departed this life Sunday, July 5, 2020 at his residence. Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church, 5116 Belmont Road, Louisville, GA with masks and social distancing. Mr. Gibbons was a native of Jefferson County, born to the parentage of the late Elizabeth Gibbons and Oliver Roundtree. He was a 1978 graduate of Louisville High and completed certifications at technical schools. Until his retirement Lee Arthur worked with the Georgia Department of Transportation and was a very influential entrepreneur post-retirement. He was a member of the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church. Survivors include his children, Arnandez (Cassondra) Walker, Sr., Louisville, GA; Kristen Gibbons, Marietta, Georgia; his siblings: Jimmy Gibbons and Willie Mae Cunningham, Louisville, GA, Eloise Gibbons, Augusta, GA and Joan (Phillip) Ligon, Hinesville, GA; grandchildren: Arnandez Walker, Jr, Aryundez Walker and Aryundria Walker, Louisville, GA, Jaquez Walker and Mikayla Dixon, Thomson, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
