Malinda Floyd Thomas, 68, 2058 Pinemount Blvd, Statesboro, GA departed this life Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at a Statesboro Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 3:00 P.M. at Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church, Louisville, GA Burial will be held in Ebenezer C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Bartow, GA

Wake services will be held Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at James and Virginia Davis Memorial Chapel, Louisville

Mrs. Thomas was a native of Jefferson County, born to the parentage of the late Rev. Booker T. Floyd, Sr. and Mary Cuyler Floyd. Malinda joined the Solomon Temple Baptist Church at an early age. She was a graduate from Jefferson County High, a graduate from Savannah State College where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree. She also took several classes in Social services at Georgia Southern University. She was a retired Administrative Assistant from Emanuel County Senior Citizen. Malinda joined and worshipped faithfully at Trinity C.M.E. Church, Macon Georgia where her husband, Rev. Mack Thomas is pastor.

She joins her parents, two sons, Corey Dewayne Thomas and Cornelius Thomas along with her brother, Booker T. Floyd, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Rev. Mack Thomas, Jr., Statesboro, GA; children, Mackenzie Cedric (Sharhonda) Thomas, Sr., Statesboro, GA, Christa LaToya Thomas, Nashville, TN; brother, Rev. Wayne (Rev. Raquel) Floyd, Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Tevin LeCedric Thomas, William Roberson, Mackenzie Cedric Thomas, Jr., Corey Dewayne Thomas, Statesboro, GA; step granddaughter, Doneshia Roberson, Douglasville, GA; aunts and uncle, Martha Harmon, Louisville, GA, Tiney Ree Heggs, Paul Floyd, St. Augustine, FL; Brothers-in-law, Walter and Lottie Thomas, Freddie and Rose Thomas, Bartow, GA, Annie Lois Thomas, Louisville, GA. A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
