Obituary For Michael "Mike" Bennett
Mr. Michael “Mike” Bennett was born May 4, 1954 in Columbia County, GA to the loving parents of Jefferson Bennett, Sr. and Neomia Roscoe Bennett.
Mike, as he was lovingly called, made his transition on Thursday, Nov. 14th, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.

Michael Bennett attended Richmond County Public School. He was truly dedicated to serving. He served four years in the US Marine, a Fire Fighter, Jefferson County EMA as an EMT and as a Jefferson County Deputy Coroner. Mike, as he was better known was employed at Johnson County EMS as an EMT / Chief.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson and Neomia Bennett, Sr. and four siblings: Gertrude Murray, Vernell Turner, Casey Bennett and Eddie Lee Bennett.
His presence will forever be felt in the hearts and minds of his Children: Derrick Mckie, Travis Bennett, Kimberly Bennett-Giles (Eric Giles, Sr.); his brothers Johnny Roscoe, Jefferson (Sherry) Bennett Jr., Leroy Bennett: sisters: Anniemae Germany, Brenda Bennett-Brown; Grandchildren: Breanna Burgess, Shekyna Burgess, Zykerria Burgess, Eric Giles Jr., Makayla Bennett; A loving and devoted friend: Catherine Gibbons; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
