She was the beloved daughter of Michelle Yvette Mack Jones the late Eugene Jones Jr. Though her earthly journey was far too brief, Monecia’s life was full of purpose, compassion, and love, leaving a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 3rd, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pierce Grove Baptist Church, 3673 Bostic Mill Road, Bartow, GA 30413.

Public viewing will be held, Friday, January 2, 2026 at Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.

A woman of strong faith, “MoMo” accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pierce Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Johnny R. Sampson, Sr., at just three years old. Her faith guided her daily life and was reflected in the way she loved, served, and cared for others with sincerity and grace.

Monecia was a proud honor graduate of Jefferson County High School, Class of 2017. While in high school, she demonstrated exceptional drive and ambition, earning a Dual Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as CNA & Health and Nutrition. She continued her education at East Georgia College and Southeastern Technical College, where she earned her Medical Assistant Certificate and obtained her Medical Assistant License. Ever committed to personal and professional growth, “MoMo” was actively pursuing her nursing career and was on track to complete her Registered Nurse (RN) degree in 2026—a goal that reflected her lifelong passion for caring for others.

“MoMo” dedicated her professional life to service. She worked as a Medical Assistant at Swainsboro Internal Medicine for over three years, where she was admired for her professionalism, gentle spirit, and genuine concern for patients. She also shared her nurturing nature while working at Southeastern Technical College Daycare and Strowbridge Daycare, where she made a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families.

Creativity and love defined Monecia beyond her career. She enjoyed doing hair, cooking for family and friends, and creating beautiful décor for parties and special events. She took pride in making personalized memorial plates, a heartfelt expression of her compassion and desire to honor the lives of others. “MoMo” had a natural talent for caregiving and was known for “nursing” those around her—always ready to comfort, encourage, and care for anyone in need.

Above all, Monecia cherished her role as a devoted mother. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, Kainan Elijah Jones and Kennadi Eliana Jones. She was a proud and loving pageant mom, fully invested in supporting her children’s dreams and celebrating every milestone. Her home was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family.

Monecia was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Jones Jr.; and her grandparents, Jeffery Mack Sr. and Eugene Jones Sr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving mother, Michelle Jones of Wadley, Georgia; her children, Kainan Elijah Jones and Kennadi Eliana Jones, both of Wadley, Georgia; her sister, Qiana Jones of Hephzibah, Georgia; her grandmothers: Anna Lordge and Cora Hill, of Wadley, Georgia; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces and nephews: Key'Asia Jones, Ashonti Jones, Amani Allen, JaKayden Jones; great nephew: Legend Jones and other extended family members, and dear friends.
