Nancy Lucille Hudson, also known as Nancy or Lou, daughter of the late Ms. Moddie Bell Knight and Eddie Lee Smith was born in Bartow, Washington County, Georgia on December 30, 1936. Graveside services will be Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Tarver Grove Baptist Church, with mask and social distancing. She was married the late George Lee Hudson 10/23/1954 and they moved to Miami, FL. To this union four children were born. Mary Fuller (Georgetown, Georgia), George Hudson, Eddie Hudson and Mattie Hudson of Miami, FL.
Nancy Lucille Hudson was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a long-time member. She was a retired employee at Howard Johnson Hotel in Miami, FL where she was employed for many years. Nancy Lucille Hudson entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings Bernestine Roberts, Virginia Miller, Alberta Carlile, Vera Knight, Earl Knight, and Yoma Knight.
She leaves to cherish her memories four children; Mary (Henry) Fuller of Georgetown, Georgia, George (Linda) Hudson, Eddie and Mattie Hudson of Miami, FL Two step daughters Mae (Larry) London of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Develyn Haygan of Harrison, Georgia. Three sisters Cecilia Passmore of Teaneck, NJ, Ethel Knight and Annie Joseph of Brooklyn, NY One brother, Freddie Knight of Bartow, Georgia. Twenty-three grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, great great grands and plenty other relatives and friends.
