Obituary For Ocer Mae Jenkins

Ocer Mae Carswell Jenkins, 95, departed this life on December14, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Johnson County Wrightsville, GA to the parentage of the late John Carswell and Viola Lewis Carswell. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Jennie Jenkins. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mount Pleasant African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery. Mask and social distancing is required. Viewing will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 at China Temple COG in Wrightsville, GA from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Mrs. Jenkins was an active member of Mount Pleasant African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as the Youth Sunday School Teacher. She was a passionate and loving mother who devoted her time to her children and grandchildren. She was a full- time homemaker who cared and loved her family unconditionally. She is preceded in death by her husband, one son, W.L. Jenkins. She leaves to cherish her memories are her children; Rev. James Jenkins, Sara Nell Jenkins, Levon (Sheniece) Jenkins, and Patricia (Kelvin) Jenkins all of Wrightsville, GA; eighteen grandchildren, forty one great-grandchildren, forty-two great great-grandchildren, fourteen great great-great grandchildren; two grands that she reared as her own, Shirreka (Rondrick) Wright and Nicholas Jenkins; one sister, Ruby Miller of Millen, GA; God daughters, Helen (Will) Hicks, Sandra (Willie) Gasdon, Mary Askew; a special friend, Linda Outlaw; Spring Bethel A.M.E. Church Family , Louisville, GA; other loving relatives, and friends.
