Mrs. Pearlene J. Gardner, departed this life Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at an Augusta Hospital.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church, Bartow, GA.

Mrs. Gardner was born in Jefferson County to the parentage of the late Grady Jackson and Pearl Daniel Jackson. She was a loving homemaker and a member of St Paul Primitive Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board, Church Treasurer, Missionary Board and the Kitchen Committee.

Survivors includes her husband, Hessie L. Gardner, Sr., Bartow, GA; sons, Tommie Lee (Nancy) Gardner and Hessie L. Gardner, Jr., Bartow, GA. Edward (Maudie J. Wells) Gardner, Louisville, GA, Aaron (Lisa) Gardner, Vidalia, GA, Jamie Gardner, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; her daughters, Mary Ann Gardner, Statesboro, GA, Glenda Sue (Wendell) Tarver, Louisville, GA, Allison Faye Gardner, Swainsboro, GA; brother, Louis Jackson, Wrightsville, GA. Geraldine Brown, Wadley, GA; sisters-in-law, Lessie Mae (Henry) Williams, Dollie Mae Gardner and Shirley (Charles) Williams; nineteen grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
