Ms. Stephanie Lashawn Thomas, born on August 18, 1987, to Mr. Willie Lee Thomas and Mrs. Geraldine Lockhart Thomas, was a remarkable individual who brought joy to those around her. She made her transition at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta, Georgia, on November 26, 2024. Her legacy will be cherished and remembered fondly by her family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA. Interment will be held in the Ways Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 5411 Campground Road, Wrens, GA.
Public viewing will be held at Davis Funeral Home, Saturday, Nov, 30, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Thomas.
Stephanie Thomas is lovingly remembered by her father, Willie Lee Thomas. Her legacy continues through her sons, Rodriguez, Tydriquez, Noah, Ayden, and Zayden Hannah, all residing in Augusta, Georgia.
She is also cherished by her siblings: Willie Lee (Anyese) Thomas Jr., Willis Lee Thomas from Swainsboro, GA, Clarrisa E. Thomas and Charlene E. Thomas from Wrens, Georgia, Jessica M. Thomas from Warrenton, and Jamal A. (Latoya) Thomas from Cordele, Georgia.
Stephanie is further survived by a supportive network of aunts and uncles, including Essie Hales, Johnny L. Thomas, Wadley, GA, K.C. Thomas, Harry Thomas, Rosie (Carl) Thomas, Robert Thomas, Wrens, GA, Lillie (Willie) Carter, Louisville, GA, Katie ( Lester) Green, Hephzibah, GA, Jimmy (Teresa) Thomas, Thomson, GA, Jessie (Stephanie) Thomas, Savannah, GA, Willie Mae (Neal) Curry, Laura Jones, Mary Jones, George Jones, Augusta, GA, Darnell (Leonald) Farmer, Patricia (Ulysses) Floyd, Glenn Lockhart, Arthur (Matrell) Lockhart, T.W. Moses Lockhart, Robert (Julia) Lockhart, Coreen Simpsons, Shelley Jordan, and Earnestine Jackson, all from Wrens, Georgia, as well as Joe Lockhart from Macon, Georgia; great aunts and uncles: Lucille (W. L.) Matthew, Robert Smith, Wrens, GA Elliott (Mae) Smith, Nellie Scott, Augusta, GA; a very special friend: Timothy Brown, Stapleton, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Her pallbearers are Dentavious Brown, Christopher Thomas, Leonard Farmer Jr., Limorris Lockhart, Ricky Jordan, Ulysses Floyd Jr., Glenn Jackson, Elijah Brown and Robert Jackson.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
