We are saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Steve Williams, who departed this life on April 5, 2025. Affectionately known as “Mudfoot”, he was born on September 6, 1977, to the late Lester Tennyson and Classie Mae Williams.
Public viewing will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at James and Viriginia Davis Chapel. Interment will be held in the Live Oak Cemetery, Greens Old Mills Road, Wadley, GA.
A proud graduate of Louisville High School in 1994, “Mudfoot” was known for his passion for washing cars and listening to music. He was full of life and took great joy in caring for everyone’s lawns. Always putting his best foot forward, he cherished his family, especially his daughter, Sa’Riyah, who was the apple of his eye.
Mr. Steve “Mudfoot” Williams is preceded in death by his mother, Classie Williams; his father, Lester Tennyson; and one brother, Sylvester Tennyson.
He is survived by his daughter, Sa’Riyah Coney; and Terrance Parker of Hinesville; as well as Teonnie Williams, whom he raised as his own. His siblings include Al (Karen) Williams, Waynesboro, Georgia, Jammy (Valencia) Williams, Jenkins County, Lisa (Jamie) Cheeks, Swainsboro, Georgia; David (Keisha) Williams of Augusta, Georgia; Kimberly Williams, Wadley, Georgia; Anthony Tennyson, MaShonda Tennyson, Augusta, Georgia, Sandra (Johnny) Young, Louisville, Georgia; Patricia (Gerald) Armstrong; Michael Warren, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Tim Prather, Wadley, Georgia; his significant other, Markeisha Coney of Wadley, Georgia;
Several of aunts and uncles: including Sollie Prosser, Sallie Walker, and Rufus Williams, Wadley, Georgia, Frankie (Dora) Williams, Swainsboro, Georgia, Joann McNair, Atlanta, Georgia, Sadie Sanders of Trenton, New Jersey, Evangelist Debbie and Elder James Axens, St. Augustine, Florida, Sarah Holmes, Augusta, Georgia; Isaac Holmes, Forsyth, Georgia, and James Holmes, Jacksonville, Florida; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
