Mr. Sylvester “Cool” Gamble, 51, 1023 Solomon Temple Road, Wadley, Ga departed this life Sunday, September 22, 2019 after an auto accident. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 12 Noon at Tarver Grove Baptist Church and cemetery, Bartow, GA. Mr. Gamble was born in Richmond County, GA September 22, 1968 to the parentage of Bessie Mae Gamble and the late David Hicks. He lived in a native of Washington County most of his life. He was a 1986 graduate of Washington County High School and at an early age he joined Tarver Grove Baptist Church. “Cool”, as he was lovingly called, was employed at Thermo King Corp for several years but was employed at Kimberly Clark. Survivors include his mother, Bessie Mae Thomas, Wadley, GA; step father, Jerry Thomas, Vidette, GA; one son, Terrance Gamble, Winston Salem, North Carolina; four daughters, La’Qundra Willis, North Augusta, Shancola Gibbons, Wadley, GA, Tiffany Gamble, Gough, GA, Jade Gamble, Winston Salem, North Carolina; four brothers, Tony (Sonya) Gamble, Fairburn, GA, Nickey (Jennifer) Hicks, Twin City, GA, Michael Hicks, Tennille, GA and David Hicks, Jr., Pensacola, FL; three sisters, Melissa (Lee) Morgan, Dublin, GA, Regina Hicks and Mary Alice Hicks, Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, a special family friend, Shelly Rucker, North Augusta; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
