Obituary For Tyrone Cooper, Jr

Tyrone Cooper Jr. was born on May 30, 2001, to Tyrone Cooper, Sr. and the late Annie Lee Brown in Augusta, Georgia. Tyrone departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, determination, love, and countless memories that will forever be treasured by his family, friends, and loved ones.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Baptist Church, 604 W. Broad Street, Louisville, Georgia. Interment will follow at New Fleming Baptist Church Cemetery, New Fleming Church Road, Bartow, Georgia.

Tyrone was a proud graduate of Jefferson County High School, Class of 2020. He was a hardworking young man who took great pride in his work and was employed as a Live Hanger at Coastal Processing Plant in Louisville, Georgia. Tyrone was a man of many talents and was affectionately known as “Mr. Fix It.” He was skilled in carpentry and had a natural ability to work with his hands. Whether repairing, building, or helping someone in need, Tyrone was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed working and fishing and found fulfillment in staying busy and being productive. His hardworking spirit, helpful nature, and genuine personality made him special to all who knew him.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Annie Lee Brown Cooper and a loving sister, Tynice Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving father, Tyrone Cooper, Sr. of Louisville, Georgia; his sisters, Jeanette Cooper and Tamera Shunta Cooper, both of Louisville, Georgia; his aunts and uncles John Brown (Shantel) of Augusta, Georgia, Willie Brown (Articia) of Swainsboro, Georgia, Tommy Brown (Lucille) of Louisville, Georgia, John Frazier, Jr. of South Carolina, and John Frazier, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia, Coretta Carter of Pensacola, Florida, and Dorothy Stokes of Waynesboro, Georgia; a special friend, Angelic Burleyson, and her son, Christian Martinez; along with a host of cousins, extended family members, friends, coworkers, and loved ones whose lives were touched by his presence.

Though Tyrone’s earthly journey has come to an end, the memories of his hardworking spirit, his willingness to help others, his love of fishing, and his many talents will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His life may have been far too short, but the impact he made and the memories he created will never be forgotten.

Active Pallbearers will be Reco Cooper, Demond Anderson, DeAndre Holmes, Dominic Usry, Jojuan Dudley and Jalen Thomas.
