On October 8, 1964, Mr. Will Quarterman was born to Pauline Hines and to the late Bill Quarterman. Will was born in Louisville, GA. Will made his transition on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at his residence.
Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA
Interment will be held in Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, 9815 Highway 17 South, Louisville, GA.
Will brought so much joy to his parents and to his sisters and brothers. Will was a loving brother, father, and friend. He attended Louisville High School. Will was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Quarterman, his father, Bill Quarterman and his brother, Bobby Johnson,. Will worked at Battle Lumber for many years until he decided to change jobs and move to Georgia, Tennessee, where he worked for many years. Later in life, he chose to work at Lamb Brothers until he retired. During his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his children, and listening to music.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother: Pauline Hines of Louisville, Georgia; A special friend: Blondel Williams of Louisville, Georgia; his beloved daughters: Kimberly (Jefquandria) Quarterman of Dublin, Georgia, Lizzie Strowbridge of Midville, GA, and Trakenna Quarterman of Louisville, Georgia; a loving son, William Quarterman of Midville, Georgia; children that he reared as his own: Antonio Usry Sr, Corey Usry Sr., and Shamika Usry, all of Wrens, Georgia: his sisters: Mary (James) Cook, Jr., Paula Prather, and Diahann Cannida, all of Louisville, Georgia; a brother: Porter (Debra) Quarterman of Wrens, Georgia, and two bonus brothers: Issac Thompson and Tyrone Thompson, of Louisville, Georgia; sister-in-laws, Elnora Smith (Leroy) of Midville, Georgia, and Mamie Hodges (Johnny) of Waynesboro, Georgia; One grandson: Trentyn Wright of Louisville, Georgia; and six other that he reared as his own grandchildren; aunts and uncles: Sarah (Jonas) Gamble and Annie Mae Henderson, Charlie Johnson of Louisville, Bernice Johnson, Wrens, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Davis Funeral Home of 725 Beech Street is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Will Quarterman.
