Mr. Willie Charles Brown affectionately known as “Bake” was born on August 9th 1949 in Bartow, Georgia to Jennie Lee Flournoy and Willie James Bostic. Willie entered his eternal rest on September 8th in Lansing Illinois.
Public viewing will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA. with Military Honors
Interment will be held At Ebenezer Cemetery, High 24 West, Bartow, GA.
Willie was a graduate of Louisville High School and served in the United States Army. Willie was a very proud veteran and loved talking about the Army. Following his military service, he held positions at Thermo King Corp., Jefferson County Hospital and retired from John Deere in Louisville Georgia.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Jennie Lee Flournoy, Willie James Bostic and two sisters, Bernestine Lavern Reynolds and Annie Bell Brown.
Survivors include his siblings: Howard Flounory, Louisville, Georgia, and Gloria J. Flournoy (Rodericus) Morgan, Lansing, Illinois and Perry (Tara) Flournoy, Fort Mitchell, Alabama.; His daughter, Shawanda Reynolds, grandchildren: Qwuashieka Reynolds, Willie Dixon, and Harmonee Dixon; great granddaughter: Kali Reynolds, Riddleville, Georgia; Aunts and Uncles: Rosa Mae Brown, Wadley, Georgia, Bernice Jenkins, Eunice Devero, Gladys Bostic Young, Joe Bell and Theothis Mountain Sr. Louisville, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
