Mr. Willie Lee Jackson “Rudy” as he was affectionally called was born on November 7th 1956, in Bartow, Georgia to the parentage of Rosa Lee Jackson and Lester Jackson Sr. He was a member of Faith Memorial CME Church of Wadley, Georgia. He received his education in the Jefferson County School System. Later furthering his education and became an electrician.
“Rudy” made his transition from labor to reward on Friday, November 25, 2022.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith Memorial C.M.E. Church.
Public viewing will be held Friday. December 2, 2022 from 3:00 – to 6:00 P.M.
Rudy was predeceased in death by his father, Lester Jackson Sr, his brother Lester Jackson Jr. Bobby Jackson, his sisters, Donnie Mae Stephens, and Jacqueline Jackson, a niece Shelia Tolbert, and nephews LaMichael Jackson and Tony Jackson.
Rudy leaves behind a lifetime of loving memories with his loving wife: Kimberly Walker-Jackson of Louisville, Georgia. His Mother: Rosa Lee Jackson, Covington, Ga. His children: Christopher Jackson (Letitia) of Louisville, Ga. Ronnie Fields, Trudi Jackson, Brittany Gamble all of Augusta, Ga., Bryan Jackson-Betts (Anthony), of Athens, Ga. Step-children: Kira Walker, and Rayon Walker both of Waynesboro, Ga. Sisters: Wylene Jackson Danford, Louisville, Ga. Rosanne Brooks (Ernest), Covington, Ga., Lynnette Womack (David)of Jacksonville, FL, Phyllis Johnson (Aubrey) of Jacksonville, FL. Brother: Roy Smith (Tyree), Augusta, Ga., Willie Roy Jackson, Louisville, Ga. Erich Jackson (LaSharles), Jacksonville, FL. Sister-in-Law: Lakisha Solomon (Mike), brother-in-law: Rodney Walker (Devita), Augusta, Ga, Kendrick Walker, Delvin Walker, Jamie Walker, Edward Kelly all of Sardis, Ga. Mother-in-law: Helen Walker of Sardis, Ga. Grandchildren: Chrystazia, KaChyra, Janiya, Krishanti, Khyron, Camille, MaLayla, Peyton, Cimere, Karmen, Makhi, Jacobi, Jakira, Camden, Braylon, Kaleb; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
RUDY will be truly missed. He always made me laughed. I send my condolences and prayers out to the Jackson family.
