Funeral Services for Alex Wright, of Ellenwood, will be held Friday, February 17, 2023; 11:00 A.M. at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 2340 Clifton Springs Road Decatur, Georgia 30034. Reverend Jerry D. Black, officiating. The remains will be placed in state at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Saturday, February 18, 2023; 2:00 P.M. (CST) at Goldman Hill Cemetery, 105 Village Avenue Uniontown, Alabama 36786.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 A.M.

Bro Wright was a kind and humble soldier for the army of the Lord. I met him in early 2000's in the men's Sunday school class at Beulah. We remained friends throughout the years. We had lots of jaw-dropping good laughs and also prayed together. God granted his desire to make it back to his earthly home here in GA but had other plans for him regarding his eternal home in Heaven. He will be missed but forever remembered!
