Obituary For Archie Perdue

Mr. Archie Perdue was born November 20, 1957, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Moses Perdue, Jr. and Mozell Brassell Perdue. He left this earth to be with his wife, Joyce Beamon Perdue; father, Moses Perdue, Jr.; and brother, Alfred Perdue, on August 8, 2024.

On his journey through life Archie joined the United States Army, serving sixteen years and advancing to become a Staff Sergeant. After a career with the military, he worked with Atlanta Correctional Department as a correctional officer and TSA at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. In Archie's spare time he enjoyed family gatherings, listening to old school music, and all Atlanta sports.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024, 2:00 P.M. at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 NOON.

He leaves behind his mother, Mozell B. Perdue; siblings, Charlene Perdue, Lisa D. Davis, Rebecca L. (Willie) Williams, Deborah (James) Nowell, Moses A. (Andrea) Perdue, and Marvelette Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary at 12:00 NOON.
