Barbara and I were great friends. We met at Merrill Lynch. We would have long conversations about different things going on in our life. She was truely a best friend.I was wishing her a happy birthday when I learned of her passing. RIP Audrey Taylor-Martinez

I just learned today of Ms. Fanning's passing. I am sending my sincere condolences to her family. I was privileged to be able to care for her at her Primary Care Physician's office for over 10 years. To my family: I am so hurt and saddened by the passing of my beloved cousin and BFF, Barbara A. Fanning. I grew up calling her "Red". We held a special bond for many years. From little girls, to teenagers, to young women, and even today as grown women. We were like peas and carrots, always there for each other. Barbara was a member of my church and I've known her for a very long time and we have shared conversation about pass and present. She was always pleasant and friendly and I will miss her presence at church because there will be an empty spot where she usually sit.
