Celebration of Life Services for Bishop Carolyn Tyler Guidry, will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at St. Philip A.M.E Church, 240 Candler Rd., SE Atlanta, GA. 30317, with remains placed in repose at 9:30 A.M. Reverend Dr. Anton Elwood, Pastor, Bishop Michael Leon Mitchell, Officiating. Interment, Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA. 30310. Wake Services will be held Monday, at St. John A.M.E Church, 305 E. Campbellton St., Fairburn, GA. 30213, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Bishop Guidry leaves to cherish her memories, Dr. Makungu Akinyela, Dr. Timothy Tyler, Ms. Alpha Tyler; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Tuesday, at 9:00 A.M.
