Obituary For Cecil Robinson
Celebration of Life Services for Cecil Robinson, of Decatur, will be held Friday, September 5, 2025; 11:00 A.M. at Saint Philip A.M.E. Church, 240 Candler Road, SE Atlanta, Georgia 30317. Rev. Dr. Anton Elwood, Pastor and Rev. James Jordan, of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Officiating. The remains will be placed in state at 10:00 A.M. Interment Georgia National Cemetery. A visitation will be held this evening (Thursday) from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Robinson; daughter, Christie Thornton; granddaughter, Alexis Thornton; grandson, Carlos Thornton, Jr.; nephew, Norman (Pamela) Bass; niece, Bennie M. (Milton) Jackson; nephew, Cecil White; a host of other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 10:00 A.M.
