Homegoing Services for Mr. Christopher Lamarr Evans, of Lithonia, GA., will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 222 Eastlake Dr., Decatur, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Ashley Robinson, Pastor, Reverend Shannon Bell Lucas, Officiating. Interment, Lincoln Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Monday, 12:00 NOON until 7:30 P.M.
Mr. Evans leaves to cherish his memories, 2 children, William D. Vaughn, Sharcola Vaughn Richards (Terence); 1 granddaughter, Portland Denise Richards; 5 siblings, Darwin A. Evans, Marilyn J. Evans, Anita E. Robinson, Kimberly E. Ware, Hiram L. Evans; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church Tuesday, at 10:30 A.M.

Chris our last talk about life a few months ago made me think about the love you have for your wife. You are a great example of what a man is as a husband and the leader of the family. I will never forget you my friend. You said, I will see you later Bam. I will hold you to it. Love you brother. I pray for your family for their loss. God will help them through life for you.
